small building projects, you need detailed mapping of your property
or site to submit to the planning authorities.
Ordnance Survey's Siteplan pack provides you with six copies of
your project site plus a useful guide to planning application procedures.
Ordnance Survey's
Siteplan Data is supplied speedily via email and includes a 12-month
copyright licence.
Your
local planning authority will advise you on the scale and number
of copies required for planning and building control regulations.
 Flexibility
and features
Siteplan
and Siteplan Data offer address-centred extracts of large-scale
mapping, ideal for building projects such as home extensions. Siteplan
is printed on CopyVoid paper to help prevent unauthorised photocopier
reproduction. Siteplan Data is supplied as a compressed TIFF file
via email. Siteplan is supplied with a choice of three scale options:

scale 80m by 80m of ground detail for a close-up of your site |

1:1250
scale 200m by 200m of ground detail |

1:2500
scale 400m by 400m of ground detail |
These show the
position of your site in relation to surrounding property, roads
and so on.
Siteplan Data
is 'scale-free' in that it can be viewed on screen at almost any
factor of enlargement or reduction, until you print/plot it out.
