Flexibility
and features
Superplan
is a flexible system that delivers graphic plots at a comprehensive
range of scales, on paper or film, of any location throughout Great
Britain. To achieve this, Superplan utilises Ordnance Survey's comprehensive
National Topographic Database of digital map data. The original
scales of survey are 1:1250 in urban areas, 1:2500 in rural areas
and 1:10,000 in moorland areas.
From this database
a Superplan plot can be produced at any scale from 1:200 to 1:10,000.
The size of the plot is only limited to the width of the paper or
film (820mm) and to a maximum length of 3 metres. The plot may also
be rotated to follow linear features, ensuring that you only purchase
required information. Survey accuracy is appropriate to the scale
of survey, not the scale of output.
Finding the
correct location is simple. By using the Royal Mail postcode, National
Grid plan number or National Grid reference of the site, you can
access your map information in a matter of seconds.
